Caps were flying high as students from the Class of 2022 from the Madrid campus of Schiller International University graduated yesterday.

Dear students, families, faculty and staff, good afternoon, and thank you all for being here today. As CEO and President of Schiller International University, I would like to conclude today’s proceedings by sharing just a few words with our graduates and new ALUMNI.

Last week we told you about our Paris campus inauguration event. And now, we take you through a tour of the premises so you can see for yourself why Paris needs to be included on your Schiller international experience bucket list.

Last week, students in Heidelberg held their graduation ceremony in full bloom, after two years of not being able to graduate in person.

This week saw the long-awaited inauguration of Schiller's new campus in Paris.Campus Director, Claire Bourgeois, along with CEO President, Marta Muniz, and Academic Director and Provost, Victoria Bamond, welcomed guests to the campus, located at 55 Avenue Hoche, just a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile in the heart of Paris.

The new IR & Diplomacy Advisory Board from Schiller International University met recently at the Madrid campus to discuss relevant issues to improve the academic program and the student experience for the Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy.

Last week, the 3 cross-campus groups of students working on the Global Innovation Challenge with LOEWE Perfumes, presented their initial ideas to the project management team in a very intense, idea-packed session.

Last Saturday young students in their Junior Year (11^th grade) roamed the halls of our Madrid campus discussing issues such as the challenge of migration flows, the 32-hour working week or disinformation as an attack on democracy.

The new Public Speaking class from our Madrid campus graduated last month with the traditional challenge: a 5 minutes speech on how, each student, is going to change the world in front of a live audience.

Gabriel Giesen is an International Business Schiller alumni and a successful entrepreneur. As the founder of Chapnik & Giesen, he grew from a 55,000 euro company with 2 people to a 15 million euro company with 150 employees in 3 years, with the pandemic in between.

Students from different nationalities studying in campuses located in Madrid, Paris, Heidelberg and Tampa are working together in cross-campus teams to solve real challenges presented by LOEWE Perfumes. 

In line with the objective of delivering cutting-edge learning experiences from top international experts, Schiller International University has partnered up with LSE IDEAS, the foreign policy think tank of the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, to offer its students a unique learning experience. 

A month to experience Cambridge student life at Girton College while expanding their views on Economics, Business and World experiences is what the recent agreement between Schiller and Cambridge University college offers for this summer.

Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Schiller International University Madrid Campus has decided to postpone commencement ceremony which was scheduled to take place in Madrid on April 23rd at Espacio Maldonado.

Here at Schiller we didn’t just throw the word International in our name as a publicity stunt, it is a part of our DNA. This is why our Student Council creates trips for the students to enjoy and learn from.

It has already become a beloved Schiller Madrid tradition to host a Parents Night, and 2019 was no different. We know choosing a university is a defining moment in someone’s life.

Ideas move the world, or at least that is what they say. But how can ideas move the world if they are not put into action? This is precisely what our SIU Alumni came to show us, how an idea through action can become an entrepreneurship project.
