Explore Another Campus.
Expand The World.

At Schiller International University, international education goes beyond the classroom. Our annual International Week is a vibrant, immersive experience designed to bring students together across campuses, cultures, and disciplines. Held once a year during the last week of January, International Week is open to all Schiller students—on-campus and distance learning.

What Is International Week?

Schiller’s International Week is a once-a-year opportunity for students to step beyond their home campus and fully immerse themselves in another cultural and academic environment within the Schiller network. It’s a unique mobility experience where students from one Schiller campus travel to and learn at another Schiller campus of their choosing for a full week.

As all of our campuses take part in the Schiller International Week, students can choose to visit any one of them—Madrid, Tampa, Paris, or Heidelberg.

Rather than simply visiting as tourists, students actively participate in:

Language courses

Cultural immersion activities

Academic and employability-focused sessions

Networking with local and visiting students

Intercultural Communication Workshops

The goal is simple: to strengthen intercultural understanding while experiencing firsthand what it means to study in a truly international university system.

International Week Activities

International Week at Schiller International University is structured to combine academic enrichment with real-world cultural exploration.

Practical Language Development

Interactive language sessions designed to build confidence and real-world communication skills. Rather than traditional classroom lectures, students practice language in authentic, everyday contexts at restaurants and in local parks.

Cultural Exploration

In the afternoons, students participate in cultural immersion activities that help them better understand their host city and its global context. Examples include museum visits, city photo scavenger hunts, and guided cultural exploration.

Business Workshops

Besides language and cultural immersion, Schiller's International Week features business workshops focused on professional communication skills and international employability. Activities include panel discussions based on international business employability and industry insights on workforce readiness.

Who Can Join?

International Week is open to all Schiller students — from any campus and even those studying online.
