Biography

Dr. Rod Harley is an educator, author, speaker, executive coach, and crisis management specialist with more than 30 years of experience spanning higher education, business, healthcare, and human services. Throughout his career, he has served as President and Managing Director of several nonprofit organizations, mental health agencies, and community health providers, leading initiatives that have strengthened organizational effectiveness and community impact. A respected researcher and author, Dr. Harley has published several books and academic articles, including a seminal study on control cognitions and risk behaviors among African American males.

His most notable scholarly contribution is the Psychocongruent Model of Change and Transformation, developed through more than a decade of research to help individuals achieve meaningful and sustainable personal growth. With 17 years of university teaching experience, he combines academic insight with practical leadership expertise.
