About Dr. Peter Romeo Nyarko
Dr. Peter Romeo Nyarko is the Associate Dean of STEM and an accomplished academic leader with over 15 years of teaching experience in mathematics and computer science at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has published in referred journals and is widely recognized for his expertise in curriculum development, course design, and STEM education. He has also led program accreditation across three continents with excellent success. He is a member of the Society of Industrial Mathematics (SIAM).
He has held several teaching and leadership roles, including Head of Department, Vice Dean of the School of Applied Sciences at KsTU, and Examination Officer at KNUST. He also served as an instructor in Computer Science, IT, and Mathematics at the University of Maryland Global Campus, Kaiserslautern campus, Germany. In addition, he is a committed mentor and motivator to students and colleagues.
Dr. Nyarko holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and was awarded the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for a double master’s program in Industrial Mathematics at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and Eindhoven University, the Netherlands.
