About Dr. Miriam Jimenez Bernal
Dr. Miriam Jiménez Bernal is a multidisciplinary scholar and educator with a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Language Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an academic background spanning linguistics, communication, gender studies, and human rights. She also holds multiple postgraduate qualifications in education, digital humanities, and intercultural mediation, and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Human Rights with a specialization in disability rights.
With over 14 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Jiménez serves as Associate Dean of International Relations and Diplomacy at Schiller International University, where she also teaches across International Relations & Diplomacy and International Business programs. Her academic and professional work focuses on critical thinking, intercultural dialogue, inclusive pedagogy, and digital transformation in education. She has led and participated in national and international research and innovation projects, including Erasmus+ initiatives, and has published widely on issues such as political communication, artificial intelligence, inclusive education, and global citizenship.
