The Schiller Paris campus (etablissement d’enseignement superieur prive) is located in the 8th arrondissement, only a short walk from one of the most famous monuments in Paris – The Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile – right at the Western end of the Champs-Elysees in the heart of Paris.

Graduating from Schiller Paris campus opens the door to exciting career possibilities in France and across Europe.

International students can apply for the French post-study residence permit (APS – Autorisation Provisoire de Séjour), allowing them to stay in France for up to 12 months to look for work or complete internships related to their studies.

Before You Arrive in Paris

Visa Information

To enter France as a student, non-EU candidates must go to the French consulate of their country and present all required documents, including an admission letter from Schiller International University.

Transportation and Accessibility

Paris boasts one of the most efficient and extensive public transportation systems in the world, allowing students to move easily through the city and beyond.

  • Metro – The Paris Metro has 16 lines and over 300 stations, connecting every neighborhood and major attraction with fast and affordable service.

  • Buses and Trams – An extensive network of buses and trams ensures smooth connections across the city and to suburban areas, providing excellent alternatives to the metro.

  • Bicycles and Scooters – The Vélib’ Métropole bike-sharing system offers thousands of bicycles throughout Paris, complemented by a growing number of electric scooters and dedicated bike lanes for easy, sustainable commuting.

Healthcare and Health Insurance

In order to obtain your residence permit (“Carte de Séjour”), you must produce proof that you are either covered by the French Social Security system or that you have arranged for individual medical coverage. This is called “couverture sociale.”
