Biography
Dr. Chris Kostov is a historian and international relations scholar with a diverse academic background and an interdisciplinary focus. He holds a PhD in History and Canadian Studies from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
Dr. Kostov is an experienced educator with over 15 years of university-level teaching in subjects such as modern European history, nationalism, Cold War intelligence, and political ideologies.
At Schiller, he has played a key role in developing and delivering globally oriented courses that blend historical insight with contemporary international affairs.
Dr. Kostov is the author of several academic books and peer-reviewed articles, and he has contributed to over 30 academic conferences and research initiatives on topics including diaspora politics, state security archives, and identity formation.
He is also known for incorporating digital tools and AI-driven methodologies into his teaching and research practices.
