Heidelberg

Germany’s central location and strong economy attract global corporations, and many have headquarters or offices close to the Heidelberg campus. Heidelberg presents many internship opportunities at global companies based in Europe. We help you find an internship at Fortune 500 companies, including SAP. The city is also recognized for its commitment to sustainability, ranking as Germany’s most sustainable city.

Madrid’s appeal goes beyond its economic stability and status as Spain’s bustling capital; it is also an essential bridge between Europe and Latin America. Known for a rapidly growing economy and international influence, Madrid is home to many multinational corporations and startups, offering students direct access to a variety of industries. The city’s extensive network of corporate partnerships provides a strong base for students to find internships and practical experiences in areas such as business, finance, and media.

Paris is one of the world’s leading business centers. It is home to the global headquarters of industry giants, including L'Oréal and BNP Paribas. Paris is also a gateway to European markets, offering students a strategic base for building a pan-European professional network. Paris has become a start-up capital with a booming tech ecosystem and amazing business career opportunities. In 2021, President Emmanuel Macron committed €30 billion to building “high-tech champions of the future.”By 2023, the plan had already helped create 26 French tech companies, 20 of which are based in Paris.

Tampa is a hotbed for entrepreneurship and tech innovation. Florida ranked highest of all the states on the U.S. Entrepreneurial Index, and Tampa, in particular, has a strong small business culture. As a student in Tampa, you’ll benefit from hands-on experiences in one of the most business-friendly states in the U.S. Florida has the highest percentage of the population that has started a business. There are 13,238 small businesses per 100,000 residents (source: flgov.com). Over 2.6 million new businesses have been created in Florida over the past four years. In addition, Florida consistently remains below the national average when it comes to unemployment rates (source: DPM).

Studying In Europe Will Help Broaden Your Employability Path

The Global Employability Path program is designed to immerse students in real-world, hands-on learning from the moment you arrive. Through collaborative assignments, industry projects, and global workshops, you’ll engage with professionals and companies worldwide, building the skills and connections to excel in international job markets. Along with intercampus mobility, this system gives you a head start in the global workforce.

Optional Practical Training (OPT)

Students who complete their final year at Schiller’s Tampa Campus may have the opportunity to participate in Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing them to gain up to 36 months of professional experience in the United States while building valuable skills, expanding their network, and applying their education in a real-world work environment.

How to Transfer Between Campuses

At Schiller, we’ve simplified the process to make intercampus mobility easy and flexible. To transfer between campuses, students must be in good academic standing, officially enrolled, and meet all progress requirements. Transfers occur between terms and require students to arrange for their own visa applications, accommodations, and health insurance as needed for their destination campus. With these basics in place, you are free to move between our global campuses.

Financial Stability

You must not have any outstanding financial obligations with the institution.

Be in Good Academic Standing

You must have a grade point average (GPA) of a minimum of 2.0.

Legal Status

You must have an approved legal status to study in the respective receiving country.

Same Degree Program

The campus must offer the same degree program that the student is enrolled at in the current location.

Space Availability

We will determine if there is sufficient space and resources to accommodate you.
