Your personal computer must meet the technology requirements to ensure the Schiller International University online courses run properly on your personal computer. The following technical specifications are minimum recommended for access and participation in the Schiller online courses delivered through the Blackboard platform. Schiller International University offers no guarantee that personally owned hardware or software will operate with Blackboard flawlessly since other factors can also impact performance such as local internet services, low bandwidth, etc.
Course Submission Software
Many students chose to use free open source software such as “Open Office” or “Libre Office”. When doing so, students are required to convert the default document formats to an acceptable format standard as listed above. This requirement is not as much for system compatibility as it is for instructor ability to view and assess submitted assignments efficiently and accurately.
If you need technical assistance with any of your student resources, our support staff can help! Please contact the Student Support Department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
