Studying in Paris is a great opportunity for our students looking for an international education and the opportunity to be immersed in one of the most important cultural capitals in the world.
At the beginning of every term, each campus conducts an orientation program especially designed to assist incoming students in adjusting to a new country. Lectures are planned to introduce students not only to some of the customs and cultural heritage of the host country, but to the practical aspects of living in that country as well.
Students receive information about public transportation schedules and fares, banking procedures and hours, student discounts, inexpensive restaurants, and local customs. Every effort is made to ease the transition to life in a new country and to answer all questions students may have about the school and the host country. We also help you to deal with things like visa and residence permits, driver licenses, etc.
All our classes are taught in English to make sure our students gain a major competitive advantage, by mastering the language of business “par excellence”, by the time they finish their studies. Non-native speakers are required to provide Evidence of English Proficiency; however, we do offer English support classes for those who may need them.
SIU Paris is centrally located in one of the liveliest areas of the city, close to Montparnasse and the student district known as “Quartier Latin”. Located in the capital of France, Paris boasts the sixth largest world economy and is a bustling economic and commercial center. The city offers over 150 museums including the Louvre, and exceptional sites, such as the Champs-Elysees and the Eiffel Tower. As an independent, international and American University in Paris, Schiller offers students a multicultural environment with faculty that encourages diversity, leadership, and global understanding.
Schiller International University is unique since gives students the opportunity to transfer from one campus to another, from one country to another, remaining in the same university without a loss of time or credit. The friendly atmosphere found at each one of our campuses helps students in adjusting to a different country and culture and, for some, to a new language.
As an independent international and American university in Paris, we offer our students a multicultural faculty and environment that encourage diversity, leadership and global understanding. In addition, Schiller’s student body is represented by over 100 nations, making all our campuses as international and dynamic as they could be. Studying in such a global environment is a unique experience for our students, being inspiring and stimulating at the same time.
The SIU Paris campus is small in size but big in cultural diversity, which makes it so human and unique. The small size of all our classes (less than 20 students) allows maximum attention to the needs of the individual student. Our students can always count on the availability of our faculty for advice and help especially since each student is known by his or her first name. We promote discussion and interaction between professor and student as a way to boost the quality of education.
Students will have the opportunity to join an international network of over 20,000 alumni from over 130 countries, to enhance their job search and career development.
Students leave our university with diplomas that are accredited on both sides of the Atlantic.
Schiller International University is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Associate, Bachelor and Master Degrees. ACICS is a national accreditor of private academic institutions and is recognized by Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
In addition, Schiller International University (Paris Campus) is registered at the Rectorat de l’Academie de Paris as Etablissement d’Enseignement Superieur Prive.
