FAQs

Our study programs are defined according to the academic system used throughout the US.

The American system measures progress in credit hours and we use the semester credit hour system. For a typical three semester credit hour lecture course, you will participate in 45 hours (15 hours x 3 credits) of instruction.

One academic hour is defined as 50 minutes of instruction during a 60-minute period. Each one (1) credit hour of a lecture requires two (2) contact hours of outside course work. For a typical three (3) semester credit hour lecture course, you are expected to complete outside class work equating to 90 hours (45 contact hours of actual class time plus an additional 90 contact hours of outside course work).

If you wish to earn two degrees, you must complete all the requirements for both degrees.

The first degree must be completed before pursuing the requirements for the second degree. Any equivalent Schiller courses common across both academic programs can be used to meet the requirements for both degrees. This is if the courses were completed within the last ten (10) years of the date of registration for the second degree.

Yes. You will receive a degree accredited by an American university (Schiller) and the University of Roehampton or Dublin Business School in Europe.

International studies encompass a multidisciplinary academic field that explores the relationships between nations, cultures, and international organizations. This field of study aims to understand and explain global interactions' political, economic, social, and cultural dimensions.

A university is considered ‘international’ when it has a global focus on its education, research, and activities. This implies that the institution has an international perspective and seeks to promote cultural diversity, global collaboration and knowledge exchange among students and scholars from around the world.

Yes. You can do intercampus transfer (ICT) during your studies to the campus of your choice. A key component of our philosophy is that you live and learn in an international environment.
