Join Schiller International University and UNITAR for an interactive info session featuring Schiller alumni – Matthias Franco and Mara Robescu, Trainees at UNITAR (Geneva), and Dijeh Nnaemeka, Intern at UPEACE Delegation to the United Nations. 

Dr. Miriam Jiménez Bernal, Associate Dean of International Relations & Diplomacy at Schiller, will be moderating the session and sharing more information about the related programs. 

The speakers will reflect on studying at Schiller, transitioning into UN‑related roles in Geneva, and navigating academic programs aligned with global and international careers.

Meet Our Featured Speakers

Matthias Franco

Trainee at UNITAR

Matthias has experience in EU-funded projects and project management in Europe, the Middle East, and Armenia. He is currently doing a traineeship at UNITAR, where he supports communications and databases for the CIFAL Global Network and assists with high‑level international events at the Palais des Nations.

Mara Robescu

Trainee at UNITAR

Mara has experience in communications, training support, and stakeholder engagement and is currently doing a traineeship at UNITAR in Geneva, where she supports training programs through communications, course development, research, and outreach initiatives across the UN system.

Dijeh Nnaemeka Theophilus

Intern at UPEACE Delegation to the United Nations

Dijeh is a production and operations management professional with 20 years of experience and is currently interning at UPEACE, where he supports UN Human Rights Council work through policy research, reporting, and multilateral diplomatic engagement efforts.
