Join Schiller International University and UNITAR for an expert presentation and interactive discussion with featured speaker Mrs. Tania Hummel, Senior Advisor on Leadership Development at UNITAR and faculty member in Schiller’s Master of Science in Sustainability Management. 

The session will explore the transformation of the Chinese Loess Plateau and the sustainability mechanisms that helped turn a severely degraded landscape into a thriving ecosystem.

Furthermore, Dr. Miriam Jiménez Bernal, Associate Dean of International Relations & Diplomacy at Schiller, will be moderating the session and sharing more information about the related programs.

Tania is a Senior Advisor on Leadership Development at UNITAR, where she advises on leadership programs and delivers training across the UN system. Tania also teaches Leadership and Change Management in the MS in Sustainability Management, helping future sustainability leaders develop the skills needed to drive impactful and lasting change across organizations and sectors.

Miriam Jimenez Bernal

Associate Dean of IRD

Dr. Jiménez is Associate Dean of IRD and a professor at Schiller with over 14 years of experience in higher education. Her expertise spans international relations, human rights, gender studies, and inclusive education, and she has led multiple international research and innovation projects, including Erasmus+ initiatives.
