Great is the thirst for knowledge from retired Germans – as so-called guest listeners or as fully enrolled students – that many universities now offer specialist courses for elderly students. Schiller International University Heidelberg participated in a local do-good project last weekend and opened the doors of its library to elderly people.
This project is an example of a growing interest in private higher education in Germany. Thanks to everyone for taking part in our orientation tour about how to use the SIU library and its services.
