Yesterday, our students, faculty and administration enjoyed a night of live music, food, drinks and good company at the Schiller International University Heidelberg Homecoming event. And we got to see some new faces. Welcome everyone!
The event featured our favorite band NORDAKAS, who represents a mix of cultures, styles and ages and expressed their happiness and feelings through one of the only ways that everyone understands: music.
Thanks to everyone who participated in Schiller International University Heidelberg’s trip to the stunning island of Mallorca. Our International Business and International Relations and Diplomacy students enjoyed the Spanish summer breeze last weekend, celebrated with students and staff and made amazing memories together #summerbreak #studentstour
Thanks to everyone for coming to our August orientation. We did check out the Hauptbahnhof, some grocery stores, and had lunch and German beer in the Bahnstadt area. All those who are interested in attending our monthly student orientation tours can come to next month’s event on September 1st.
After a huge success of our Madrid Alumni Reunion, we’re excited to announce the date for our next Alumni Reunion weekend: Join us next July 6th and 7th at the Heidelberg campus for great memories with old friends, inspiring conversations with new ones, for music, laughter and German beer! We can’t wait to share more details with you. Stay tuned and thanks everyone for voting!
This week 29 Schiller students attending International Relations and Diplomacy programs and 2 instructors left Heidelberg to drive to Brussels. Everyone was welcomed at the Commission to listen to three presentations covering key issues of the European Union. The start was a presentation dealing with the Commission as the political executive of the European Union. The second presentation dealt with the “improvement of industry’s competitiveness and fostering growth, innovation and job creation” and the final one with “EU development cooperation”. Lively discussions between presenters and us ensured that all stayed involved and everyone felt that the visit was a success.
