Schiller International University - An American University in Strasbourg

The Strasbourg Campus provides the ideal location for the presentation of conferences, seminars, study abroad programs, events and special projects hosted by Schiller throughout the year. We are based at the Château de Pourtalès, an enchanting 250 year-old castle, surrounded by a magnificent park on the edge of the Robertsau Forest. The campus is only a short ride by public transportation from the European Parliament, the European Court of Human Rights, and the historic center of Strasbourg. No degree programs are currently offered at this location.

Strasbourg, one of the capitals of the European Union, is situated in Alsace, eastern France, just across the Rhine from Germany and close to Switzerland. It is the seat of several globally influential institutions, including the European Parliament and the Council of Europe. This international focus, combined with its central location, makes Strasbourg an important business center in its own right. With its old-town feel and modern priorities it provides a fairy-tale setting for lessons in the realities of the world today.

Schiller's Strasbourg campus occupies the historic Château de Pourtalès and adjacent buildings within the scenic Parc de Pourtalès, home to permanent collections of contemporary art and sculptures. The surrounding area offers a variety of outdoor and recreational facilities, and the town center is approximately 20 minutes from the campus center - an array of tours can be booked through the campus.

The campus includes classrooms, a recently remodeled library, a computer lab with Internet access, WLAN throughout the Château, and banquet and seminar facilities.
